1-Grid Fails at the Basics: No Support, No Service, No Accountability

I have rarely encountered service as frustrating and technically *********** as what I’ve experienced with 1-Grid.

All I needed was a simple registrar-level change: update the nameservers of my domain to point to Wix. Their own system refuses to save the change and instructs me to contact support. So I did — and that’s exactly where everything fell apart.

Instead of performing the basic registrar function I requested, support repeatedly sent irrelevant, incorrect explanations that had nothing to do with the actual issue. They insisted that Wix needed to “configure the domain” before the nameservers could be updated — something technically impossible and a clear sign that the support staff do not understand DNS at all.

After multiple attempts to explain the issue, all I received were copy-and-paste answers that completely ignored the actual problem. Only when I pushed back did they claim to be “escalating” — yet there has been no resolution, no update, and certainly no urgency.

To make matters worse, phone support is effectively non-existent. Calls drop after a few minutes with the automated message: “No support agent available at this time.” This happens repeatedly. No queue, no callback, no human being — just a dead end.

A registrar that cannot:

- perform a basic nameserver update, - provide technically competent support, or - even answer their own phone lines

…is a registrar you simply cannot rely on.

If you value uptime, responsiveness, or even the most basic level of customer service, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. My experience with 1-Grid has been slow, dismissive, technically incorrect, and deeply frustrating.

Absolutely unacceptable.
