Worst insurance company with *********** assessors.

Bryte insurance company is the worst third party insurance company with the most *********** people who does not know how to assess accidents. I dealt with a lady named Sinenhlanhla. It was quite hard to get her to communicate with me, but another employee there insisted that she start answering my emails after I called them.

So what happened? A truck driver working for their client , Colaphase (Pty) Ltd in at 17 Muller street in Groblersdal, turned wide from an oncoming traffic lane from right to left, over the left lane into the business premises that is situated in the residential area in Groblersdal without making sure it is safe to turn and without using a turning signal indicating his intention to turn left. My son was on his motorcycle on his way home from school, driving as required by road traffic act laws in SA. Needless to say, the truck turned in front of my son causing an accident to occur.

My son got injured in terms of burn wounds to his leg and suffered damaged to his motorcycle to the value of approximately R20000.

At the scene of the accident a representative from Colaphase (Pty) Ltd said that they will fix the motorcycle. They mentioned that the driver of the truck drove a long way from KZN through the night which indicates that their drivers may be fatigued and therefore a danger to themselves and other road users.

Bryte insurance interpreted the accident in some kind of way only they would know how. While all the facts, evidence, and witness statements indicate that the truck turned from the oncoming traffic lane , over the left lane where my son was traveling, into a business premises in a residential area, Bryte’s management said that my son must be careful while driving in a parking lot. They also said the truck was turning to the right. Clear video footage shows that the truck turned left in front of my son. Bryte offered a settlement of 60 percent of damage to the motorcycle and nothing towards medical costs. When confronted, they said take the settlement or you will get nothing.

So yes. Bryte insurance company must look at getting competent accident assessors and make fair decisions. This matter will now enjoy further attention. Their client will be held liable for the costs that were not accounted for by Bryte insurance company. Lets see if Colaphase (Pty) Ltd from Groblersdal is willing to take responsibility and accountability for the wrongful actions of one of their employees who caused this accident.

I would also encourage the relevant legislative bodies to investigate overtime worked by those drivers.
