UNFAIR TREATMENT AGAINST INSURANCE CLAIM
We lodged a claim on the 3rd August 2020 and after numerous phone calls and emails with the broker, we received a rejection letter dated 30 August 2020. We then subsequently sent a mail on the 31 August 2020 with a complaint letter and reasons as to why the reject was seen as unfair. On the 7th September 2020, we received a second rejection letter and the reason was the same as the first. The fact that this insurance company did not even bother to at least take time to consider the alternative solution shows to us that they do not really take the clients needs first. After paying R3000 a month for almost 2 years, your claim is rejected with a click of the finger and it takes almost a month to be told that. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THE SERVICES OF THIS INSURER.
On the 5th October 2020, I then app**** to the OSTI for assistance- Case No- G307/20. I sent through all the relevant documents together with voice recordings and all email correspondences. Once again, after several phone calls and emails sent through, to date we still have received no relevant and precise feedback from the OSTI. It is always that they are waiting for a response from the " INSURER". IT MAKES YOU WONDER WHO'S SIDE THE OSTI IS REALLY ON. ARE THEY REAALY THERE FOR THE " PEOPLE"
