Travel claims
Recently took extended travel cover underwritten by Bryte insurance. What a waste of money. When selling the policy the cover is not outlined clearly. Essentially they don’t pay for anything so be careful. I had a flight cancelled and was delayed in a foreign country for 2 days. No cover for this was provided. I also found their response times very delayed. Following reports about their legal issues with business interruption claims resulting from Covid, after my experience I’m not surprised. It seems it’s their policy not to pay.

16 Feb 2022, 13:20Bryte have contacted me in this regard. There is still a problem in that their policy is not clear in what is required to claim when you take the policy . So my advise to anyone thinking of travel insurance through Bryte, is to be careful. What they say is not what they mean. Essentially their cover is catered for by the airlines.
