Shocking. This is what it means to be insured with Bryte

Shocking. This is what it means to be insured with Bryte and everyone who is insured with Bryte please take heed of my cautions now.

I am going to advertise this on every available social media platform to forewarn all current Bryte client’s as well as those thinking of joining.

The collision happened on the 25th January ’18. It is now the 03rd April ’18 – that is right, 64 days, and still no finality.

All that I have gotten out of these 64 days is an un roadworthy vehicle.

First off, after lodging my claim with Bryte on the 26th January ’18, I gave indication of who my preferred service provider would be. Bryte then took my vehicle to a service provider without by knowledge or consent and not the one I indicated I would prefer. After receiving what was an massively inflated quote which I brought to Bryte’s attention (so much for me doing the right thing for my insurer) they eventually agreed to have my vehicle moved to my preferred service provider – but this process took 8 working days – imagine that – 8 working days to move a vehicle 27 kilometers.

So the revised quote came back from the new service provider that I recommended and it was half of what the first service provider that Bryte referred me to – yes that is right – half.

Now comes the next hurdle, on the 27/02/2018 I submitted a query to my broker to have the front tyres replaced the tyres that were on the vehicle is no longer produced and they would need to fit a different tyre on the front axle and would make vehicle unsafe and un roadworthy. Follow up on the 20/03, the 22/03 and the 26/03 – still no feedback.

I was then forced to collect my un roadworthy vehicle from the service provider – and still no response from my broker or my insurer re the roadworthy issue.

To anyone out there insured with Bryte or thinking of taking insurance with Bryte heed this warning.
