Shocking Client servive

I broke down in February this year just past Warden on my way back to Johannesburg. I called the people who Bryte use for Road side assist. I was told by the person on the other side that they will be sending a brake down to tow me through to Vereeniging.

About 2 hours later a brake down arrived and said to me that they towing me through to Warden, I explained to the brake down that he was to take me to Vereeniging to which he told me I need to pay R2500 cash for that to happen which I didn't have on me at the time.

Bryte then had my car towed to a Panel beater in Roodepoort as apparently they had a machanic that could look at the damage as I had taken water through the engine.

In September after numerous phone calls I was told my bakkie was been taken to Bosch service centre where they will opened my engine for a Bryte assessor to look at.

I was then sent a letter to say that my claim was declined as there was no sign of water in my air filter box and that I had to make arrangement to collect my Bakkie myself.

since I collected my bakkie I have had two independent mechanics look at the engine which was left in pieces on the back of the bakkie and both have said that it is water damage as you cant displace water and that is what caused the engine failure.

I will never recommend Bryte to any of my family or friends.

I want to thank Bryte for nothing. Just got a quick response when I posted here on Hello Peter.

Clearly their assessor doesn't Know what to look for as I had water damage done in February and the assessor only went to see my Bakkie in May. He says that he saw no water in my Airbox which he wouldn't as it was full of oil. Claims that there would be damage to my conrod ( which there is) but according to him there isn't. seems Bryte will do anything and say anything to get out of paying a claim.

really disappointed in the Company ( Bryte)
