Not paying out claims as per their Policies

We took travel insurance with Bryte for our family of 4 holiday in March 2020. Due to Covid 19 we had to cut our holiday short and return to SA. We could not fly to France and visit Disneyland as planned and paid in full up front.

Back in South Africa I submitted the claim to Bryte. The consultant notify me that they are not paying for our Disneyland tickets that we also had to cancel. According to the consultant that assist me, tis was his feedback: 'unfortunately the Disneyland tickets does not form part of the travel costs but these are fun activities'. We incurred additional costs due to the publics transport that was on lockdown, we had to pay diesel in order for some one to shuttle us around and pay for additional groceries. Feedback from Bryte was that we are not covered for any of this.

This is to say the least breach of contract and contradiction to their policy and agreements in the contract we signed. It clearly states in section 7 that one will be paid for: 1. proof of payment for tickets to the entertainment or sports events, 2. receipts for essential expenses incurred.

They are unhelpful and is refusing to pay my claim.
