First rate cost for second rate repairs

<p>In December a truck reversed into one of our Volkswagen Caddies damaging the sliding door. The Caddy was taken in for a repair quotation which was sent in to the insurers. Only half of the repair cost was approved - we have to accept a second hand door or a pirate part because the vehicle is four years old! (The vehicle was bought brand new). On top of that we still have to pay the full R5000 excess - hardly worth having insurance. We have had a long history with Zurich, but I think the end of the road is in sight.</p>
