Excess Payout

Accident occurred in April 2014 with a Pikitup Vehicle. My insurance broker Link-U and insurance company Zurich were informed that it was a Pikitup Vehicle that there was an independent witness and that metro police were on the scene. They have never followed up with the witness and have never obtained the metro police report with statements from my son who was the driver of our vehicle, the driver of the Pikitup vehicle and the independent witness. Neither Zurich or Link-U have ever followed up with me with regards my excess. I have consistently nagged them. Last week when I finally threw my toys out the cot so to speak I was informed that there is a six month time prescription if a government vehicle was involved. Why then did nobody from Zurich or Link-U follow up timeously - it is not my job it is theirs. That is what I pay them for. Both companies were aware that it was a PIKITUP VEHICLE - HE WAS SPEEDING IN THE REA VAYA BUS LANE WHERE HE HAD NO LEGAL RIGHT TO BE AND HE IGNORED THE TRAFFIC LIGHT RELATED TO THE BUS ANYWAY. No one from Zurich bothers to follow up. No Service Whatsoever. I want answers!
