***** insurer - Looks for reasons to reject claims

Service was excellent after lodging a complaint on hello Peter . Santie from bryte assisted and quick response on my initial damages . After discovering damages on my outbuilding a week later , poor response from loss adjuster and bryte . They looked for reasons to reject my claim . As per the loss adjuster my claim exceeds 100k and must run through management, second conversation my roof *****s are lifted and rusty , third conversation my bishop strips were rusted and leaking prior to the storm . Secondly I’m covered for damage to skylights , they rejected and refused to replace my skylight.

Over ten years with bryte / Takaful, 1 Claim and rejected external maintained roofs , skylight & one outbuilding area . ( outbuilding area was waterproofed and maintained last year September, I don’t climb up my roof monthly to check if nails had lifted with winds / storms . We maintain our property annually.

I even offered to cover costs from my pocket to look into the matter but straight out rejected.

I was only paid out about half of the damages .

Be careful as to what you being paid out and get a sow to be done before accepting settlement.

Secondly communicate via mail so the stories don’t change .

Assesor gives his story , senior Assesor says something else , claim department got something else to say.

My personal opinion after what I’d went through with bryte .
