Do not use Bryte for travel insurance

Even 1 a 1 star rating is too generous for this *****ed company. I took out their top-tier travel insurance for an international trip. Due to government mandated border closures, my trip was cancelled and Bryte refused to pay me out for the cost of my flights saying that the airline has offered vouchers. I now have vouchers I can't use from a near bankrupt airline.

When I tried to recover some of my cost by requesting a refund on the travel insurance premiums I paid, they said they aren't liable to pay a refund due to me lodging a claim with them. Note that the claim I lodged with them was rejected and the policy never actually came into effect because my trip was cancelled before then.

They used their heavily biased policy wording to completely **** me. They were unjustly enriched with my money.

I strongly advise you not to choose Bryte for travel insurance.
