Cover IS provided for water damage due to taps left on during water outages and exceptional service for over 20 years!

I would like to applaud Bryte Insurance for paying out for claims where taps are left on accidently during municipal water outages; this is something that can occur in SA easily and is not negligent. If you are not with Bryte, please carefully check your cover as other insurance companies, such as Standard Bank Insurance, do not cover this and will not budge on the matter. I have posted on this site separately about Standard Bank Insurance and my shocking experience with them regarding this matter.

I'd also like to commend our broker, Leana, for her outstanding service over the many years. In addition, Senzi handles our claims and has been amazing.

It has been the hugest pleasure to work with Bryte!

I asked Bryte/Intersure to confirm that my post above was factually correct. The response is below:

Your post does not seems to be factual incorrect.

However, you may add that we paid the damages out under an additional extension under your policy that picked up the damages & is not a standard cover on the Bryte Policy.

We as Intersure always add these extensions as a rule to avoid anything not being covered.
