CLAIM BRYTE TRAVEL INSURANCE

For more than 20 years, more than 70 oversease trips, I used ABSA/Bryte Travel Insurance, Basic Automatic cover & Top Up Option 2. Last cover, I Paid R1795-00 for period 21 September 2022 to 22 September 2023 February 2023 I stayed over in Kenya for medical reasons, hospitilised, bought an extra flight ticket. Did not receive my luggage, finish my trip to Bangkok. Didn't receive luggage again. Paid hotel for 4 days. Stayed only 5 hours, have to go back for my return flight. I claimed all my exspenses, flight ticket, delay, hotel, luggage, medical, hospital etc. Bryte didn't paid for anything at all. My hospital was paid back by DISCOVERY, with excellent service.

But it was a waste to spend so much money for travel insurance, for so many years, and ABSA is not reliable at all.

I will never recomment ABSA/BRYTE TRAVEL INSURANCE to anyone.
