Bryte insurance refusal to pay

I was involved in a hit and run as a cyclist were a client of Bryte insurance drove over me,a Good Samaritan was able to chase the car and get the number plate,with help from police I was able to locate the address of the vehicle in Stellenbosch at the top shell container company. After admitting and apologising the company referred me to their insurance and I had to fill in forms and provide affidavits,get quotes from cycle shops,which I duly did. It went on for some time were they played delay tactics on the matter and all I wanted was a replacement of my bike which was a write off let alone the bruises and scars sustained from the incident,and was sent from pillar to post,fast forward to a year later and them having asked for my credentials for reimbur*****t,I received a different email from their attorney stating that I was in the wrong and they don’t owe me anything.this really infuriated me as I then reached out to a lawyer for assistance but he explained why they did that and said they played delay tactics and merely waited for the timeframe of the case to expire so that they can reject the claim and all they were doing by their later responses was buying time. I was left hopeless and felt hard done by a so called reputable company who was willing to dodge responsibilities by applying insidious actions an unforeseen claimants.
