BRYTE: Guesthouse flooded on 4th of Feb, 2022. Now 2nd March major safety issues still outstanding

On the 4th February our guesthouse experienced a major flood. Staff worked overtime to salvage what we could and to minimize damage. Walls were sprayed down to prevent re-painting from potential stains. Carpets soiled, furniture damaged, generator under water, two boundary walls damaged, Lapa roof damaged, gate motor under water, pool soiled, pool pump damaged beyond repair, ceiling and cornice swollen and stained....etc.. The concern now is that the insurers (3rd party) came out and inspected damage. It is now 2 days short of 1 month and I have had very little assistance from the insurers Bryte. I tried to call the Managing director, he was unavailable, I tried to speak to the Marketing Director and was blocked, I trie dto speak to any of the directors and was unsuccessful. I now have safety issues with the garden walls being propped up with a wheel barrow for 28 days. Difficulty in closing backdoor of guesthouse (Swollen). Potential secondary damage due to leaking Lapa roof.

Gate motor fixed after major complaining. Pool repairs was done first and was originally impressed. Now speechless

I have no words and am at a loss of what to do next. Nicole from Hospitality Claims department intervened and I thought I was being heard. Nope, nothing - NADA!

I have guests questioning the state of affairs at our guesthouse.
