Bryte Deception

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I was advised by Nedbank Voyager to purchase trave Insurance through their preferred partner Bryte Insurance as we would be comprehensively covered on our upcoming holiday o Turkey, We left as all unsuspecting tourists do, in the belief that Brte was a "reputable company". As fate would have it my partner ended up in the emergency room of Bodrum Amerikan Hospital for an emergency endoscopy. To our absolute horror we advised that Bryte Insurance was not one of the recognised Travel Insurers in Turkey and that full payment would have to be made on departure. Medical expenses Rover 6000 Euro are not normally budgeted for on a holiday so after paying by means of 3 different credit cards as well as 1000 Euro in cash we were free to go.

On arrival back home we then embarked on a tedious match of 'to and fro' correspondence with Masentle Mekone who could not be less helpful, never answers her phone and if she returns your call or bothers to answer you email you are told to submit yet more evidence of the claim. To date we have provided them with all hospital Invoices, proof of receipt, bank statements, credit card statements, hospital report, medical report and after two months we continue to be fobbed off with the same delay tactic of advising that hey are in the process of accessing the claim and will evert shortly. Another 6 days has passed since we were last fobbed off with this same excuse and we still wait. It s over 2 months of Bryte playing games with clients they treat with disdain. Today in desperation we have had no option but to seek legal representation and institute litigation to try to recover what they are happy to peddle as "insurance". I haver also lodges a complaint with the Insurance Ombudsman.

So if its travel insuarnace from hell peddled by a company hell bent on ensuring they earn maximum top line profits while but putting the *****s on their clients don't leave home without the peace of mind you are "covered" by BRYTE Insurance. Deception at its best!
