Run Away

I purchased a lounge suite of couches from Zulu Lounge at OK Furniture in December 2023 for R10,000. Despite the initial issue of receiving the wrong color and being told that the one delivered was the last of its kind, I decided to keep them because they looked appealing and felt structurally solid.

However, just two weeks later, the couches started making noises and losing shape. When I contacted OK Furniture, they offered to exchange the couches or have them sent for repairs. I chose to have them exchanged.

Another month passed, and the same issues reappeared. After following up with OK Furniture, they eventually took the couches back for repairs. They only added some stuffing in the armrests and did nothing else. The three-seater is now completely falling apart, and every time I sit on it, it feels like it will collapse.

I strongly discourage anyone from buying from Zulu Lounge. This purchase has been a complete waste of money, and my experience has been incredibly frustrating. I've already listed these couches on Facebook Marketplace, and I’m back to using my old couch, which I bought from Facebook Marketplace five years ago. What I thought was an upgrade turned out to be a regrettable use of my December bonus money. Avoid Zulu Lounge at all costs.
