Stay clear of this ****roach infested place. We hired all 7 rooms for a family Christmas vacation Dec 2019, paying R40k for the privelige of experiencing ****roach, dirty bed linen, ittermittent hot water and aircon. It was advertised as self catering, the kitchen was filthy, we had to clean everything before we could use it. The gardens were over grown with rotting avo's and mangos left lying there. Empty beer bottles left lying around, along with an old washing machine. Thank goodness we had also rented another house 3 doors down, there were 27 of us in total, so we spent 90%of our time there. The owner Humphrey was very arrogant, when we complained, he accused us of being stuck up, and was not prepared to even consider a refund. The photos and reviews look amazing, we have since found out the photos are years old and the reviews were written by his wife.
