Real estate shares, *********
For some time, I have been searching for an undeveloped land/stand on which I would be able to live 100% off the grid. Also, would like to build my home from cob and natural materials. Being a member of USAF, the opportunity arises on the 18th August 2019, where stands have been made available at very reasonable prices. After confirming, that although it will be in shares, the land will be mine, and I will be able to sell it. The funds were paid into a trust account the next day. On demand, I also paid a further R2 000 for a share certificate into the same trust account. There are false promises made and sadly many prices added on out of the blue that people cannot afford. It was first understood that you can buy cheap land. Then pay R2000 legal fees in order to get your share certificate thinking then that the land will be yours. You then keep on asking for your share certificate only to be told that you need to pay service fees before you can choose your farm portion. An example, if you bought 2000 sqm you must pay R69 000. That was not the end of it. They have also got a company that you must put every cent of yours to purchase everything concerning building your house. They also claim all the vat. Once your house is built you must then, over and above what you have originally in the beginning paid and with all the surprise add on monies, you must pay 5% or who knows how much of the total cost of what you paid to build your house. Remember you have no fresh water or electricity which are further costs.
None of this was originally shared when you needed the patriots money, and I know it was a bargain, but it boils down to the point, if I invested in gold a year ago, then you would only pay out the amount I have invest then?
One of the very first people to pay for my share, I fell for the dream of living independently on affordable land among my own community, but as time has passed a much more realistic picture of life at Zuidland has developed, and unfortunately it is way out of my means and budget.
I would like to sell my farming portion, and do expect a competitive price, as, 2000 ㎨, serviced now selling for R145 000, therefore, minus the R69 000 service fee, it should be worth R76 000. I have not received a share certificate, and according to them I have to pay all the additional fees before it will be issued. Without the share certificate they will only pay me back what I have paid for the land, minus a 10% admin fee.
