Zonewatch Bad Service

Zone watch has let me down. To the management of Zonewatch

As of immediate effect I am terminating my association with Zonewatch.

The reason is the beams that they installed less than a year ago. They were chosen on their advice. I now discover that they are easily breached by walking up to them and putting an empty plastic bottle over them or spraying with hair spray. I tested this myself and it works. In short, they are completely useless.

I wrote a letter to the Zonewatch complaining to them that the beams were not fit for purpose and requested that they escalate the letter to management and to give me costs on replacing them. I expressed urgency because we have been victims of crime several times in the last year and that the Neighbourhood watch in the area has identified my street as a crime hotspot. Hayley van Diem received that letter.

I only got a quote to replace them but my original complaint was not addressed. The fact that these costs were to replace their bad product and advice was ignored.. I followed up with several phone calls and was told each time that the manager concerned was not available and would call back. No one called back.

I called their technical deptartment to ask if the replacement, very expensive beams they quoted me for were also easily breached. They didn’t know and would come back to me. They never returned this call either.

It has also come to my attention that other security companies have stopped using this type of beam years ago because they are useless. This leaves me with the conclusion that Zonewatch also must have known but decided to dump old redundant stock on to me which is dishonest and quite frankly dangerous. Their refusal to return my calls I will take as an admission of guilt. .
