A South African Eco Restaurant ZIZI Bloemfontein

What an exceptional experience to dine at ZIZI Restaurant in the Bloemfontein Botanical Gardens. Not only was the food superb (try the quiche with its thick, scrumptious filling), the ambiance was excellent with the peace of nature all around. The staff was so friendly and well trained, the coffee freshly aromatic and steaming and the owner (Ms Theunie Klopper) active in the kitchen producing traditional South African fare (the way my mom and grandmother used to cook) and even flatbread with a modern twist. I found the experience so peaceful, I envied the different groups catered for inside and outside the restaurant on the lawns -- in the crisp, clean air without any pollution. When I next pass that way I will certainly stay over just to experience the ZIZi magic again. Thank you Theunie and your team -- driving back to Gauteng I just realized what a difference ZIZI's made to my journey -- I really wish you were closer to Gauteng so that I could visit your restaurant on a regular basis.
