Poor Quality

We decided to have our gates galvanized with ZA Galv as they had the best quote. They were quite friendly and picked up our gates and delivered it on time. The whole process was quite easy but when my brother, who actually knows about steel and galvanizing, came home it was appalling what we discovered. The gates looked like it was sprayed, the coating was peeling off and there were a lot of areas where the coating did not get, so it was a job half done. As far as I know, before steel gets galvanized and it is rusted, it gets dipped in acid and then dipped in the galvanizing. Clearly the first step was not done. Not only are their workers unprofessional but so are there Quality controllers. If I can see with the naked eye that the job was done poorly, surely they could or they just not doing their job. This is not a small thing like a pie or food that was off but actually BIG gates that people have to inspect. We got the gates beginning of December and sent the gates back. 2 weeks passed and still nothing. My brother called them and they advised they have 3 clients before us so we have to wait. As far as I know I PAID AND I AM THE FIRST CLIENT WHO SHOULD HAVE PRIORITY! So close to Christmas to mess up like this is very stressful and supposed to be a happy time but never again and will recommend them to no-one. They eventually brought the gates and nothing has changed. The gates are now peeling and on Hello Peter they are not even registered but I will continue enlightening people about their poor service and how they con people.
