Stole my deposit and refuse to return it!!!

I visited the delaership in Benoni mid-Oct 2020 and was keen on purchasing a 2006 Honda Accord priced at 140k. I drove the car, paid a 1k deposit to hold the vehicle and did not sign the OTP as I needed to contact insurance to make sure they could insure the vehicle.

No insurer, either by my efforts or those of Zido, were able to insure the car and the deal fell through. I have requested my 1k holding deposit back as I never committed to the deal however I have been ignored by Venessa Janse Van Vuuren and Trevor. They have *********ly kept my deposit and Venessa keeps telling me to contact Trevor, who does not respond to me. They are rogues and ********* and I do not recommend anyone deal with them.

I have now instituted legal proceeding against the aforementioned sales person and manager, and its not so much about the funds, but the way my case was handled in a most ********* way.
