I purchased a shipping container from ZIBO Containers (PTY) LTD , I paid R10,500 upfront for the container, which included delivery, a day later I receiver a email from ASAP Couriers who claimed to be the transport company for ZIBO Containers, who said that I need to pay them for the transport insurance which was R12500.00 payment upfront of which R12000.00 was refundable. At first I thought this was just proof that the were working on delivering my container as I had specified to them where it needed to be delivered and they confirmed that we were done and all that would happen now was for us to wait to the delivery.

A few days later, specifically a day after they were meant to deliver I gave Zibo a call on Mobile: (+27) *** asking why they did not deliver. that is when they told me I was holding up the delivery because their courier company contacted me and I never responded. I was shocked and told them I saw the email but I thought it was something they needed to handle on their side, since we had concluded on the amount incl. delivery. the guy said it is a gov policy and they can't do it on their side. I refused to pay anything further, and requested they refund me my money. that is when they haulted all communication.

When looking further into the company I realized there is another company with the exact details, which sells food packaging products, it would seem they stole their identity.

I have since opened a case and also the bank managed to give me the Account holder of the person i deposited into even though the money was long gone. If anyone is out there trying to find these people please contact me please leave a message!!!
