Not Helpful when you withdraw

I registered with Zero Debt for Debt Review and followed all instructions to the T. 2nd Feb submitted my application and 10th Feb requested them to cancel my application as I no longer want to go under Debt Review. Told them I have a new job with good pay and I can meet my debt payments. 16th Feb followed up and was advised to settle R350 before they will cancel the application. Said I will pay them on 25th when I get paid. 25th Feb called to speak to Chris personally and immediately he asked me if I instructed them to continue. I said no I asked you to cancel. He said to listen to him again and asked the same question. I rep**** again no I asked you to cancel my application. He got angry with me because he said I am not answering his question, \Did you instruct us to continue\". I said I am not understanding the question then. Did I give them the stop order to pay them end of Feb? I said yes I did. He then said I am lying to him wasting his time. Was rude the entire conversation and put the phone down on me. He is all friendly and says he is there for you to call him ANYTIME when you became a client but after you pay your debts in full he is unhelpful to clear your name."

Dear Samantha,

I do apologise for the inconvenience caused.

Please be advised that as per the NCA if consumers are not over-indebted a Form 17.2 Rejection should be sent informing the creditors, a Debt Counsellor may then request R 350 (Including VAT) cancellation fee. I have perused your file and noticed that a Form 17.W Voluntarily withdrawal was issued and therefore no cancellation fee was requested.

Please do not hesitate to contact our offices should further assistance be required.
