Major dissappointment with Zero Debt

I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received regarding the removal of my debt review status. I obtained a valid court order declaring that I am no longer over-indebted and directing that I be removed from debt review. Despite providing the court order, I have encountered ongoing resistance in having my status updated. All the accounts that previously formed part of my debt obligations have been prescribed and have since been removed from my credit reports. The only remaining account is an MFC vehicle finance account, which is fully up to date and not in arrears. Despite these facts and the court order, I have been informed that my debt review status cannot be removed because the MFC account still has an outstanding balance. This has left me confused and frustrated, as the court has already ruled that I am no longer over-indebted. As a result, I continue to suffer prejudice due to the debt review flag remaining on my credit profile. This has affected my financial freedom and caused unnecessary delays and stress. I have now been compelled to escalate the matter to the National Credit Regulator (NCR) for investigation and guidance. I am requesting that Zero Debt urgently review this matter, provide a clear written explanation for their refusal to implement the court order, and assist in resolving this issue without further delay. I hope that by sharing my experience, the matter can receive the attention it deserves and be resolved fairly and professionally.

Good day Mannshi.  Our reviews department is currently working on your query. You only forwarded your court order to us today, enabling us to update your debt review status. The debt review status has now been updated. We will send your court order to all credit providers if your attorney has not already done so.  Please give the credit providers time to update their records before applying for new debt. Regards, The Zero Debt Team.
