Repairs to PS Vita

<p>I recently took my sons PS Vita which i had purchased overseas in for repairs. I was charged R171.00 fault finding fee which would then be deducted from the repair costs if I agreed to go ahead with the repairs.</p> <p>I mentioned to the technician that the problem might be the charger and can they please check it, which he assured me they would do. I get an email a week later that the repair costs including the R171.00 that I paid is now R684.00. I also received an e-mail with the quote and a request to proceed to which I rep**** to requesting a breakdown on what the issue was. I received no response. I got a call a few days later saying requesting if they could go ahead with the repairs, and my question again was, what is wring with the unit can you give me a diagnosis of the issue. I was just told no dont worry we will fix it and it will be as good as new, I was not told what the issue is. I agreed and the repairs where carried out. I went to fetch the unit with my son who is 9 years old and he switched on the unit and it was working. I paid for the repairs and we went home, when we got home we noticed that the unit was not charging and we went back to Zeon Investments. They told me the charger ncable was an issue, so I asked them didnt you guys test it and the reply was no, we just changed the mother board and it worked, we did not check your charger, we used another charger, which leads me to believe that the charger might have been the issue all along and I just got **********. What further action can be taken against these Charlatans. I am very upset after spending R900.00 of my hard earned money.</p>
