Zems Vehicle Rental

On the 4th August 2023 I hired a white VW Polo from Zems Vehicle Rental 39 Orchid Street, Malabar, Port Elizabeth. They asked for R5000 deposit that they will refund after 72hrs after the car has been returned. On the same day the car showed a water sign, went to the garage put in water.The next day on my way to Grahamstown the same problem occurred’ I did the same thing put in water. On my way back from Grahamstown called them to report the matter because it was frustrating. They asked me to bring back the car they will change it of which I did. They gave me Atios.I returned the car Atios on the 7 August. On the 11th August I asked them about my refund they said they can’t refund me because the Polo is under investigation. They told me another company is busy with the assessment of the car. I’ve been calling them since they keep on changing the company that is busy with assessment of the car. Today is the 21st August I called them the answer was still busy with investigation.
