Waiting to hear about my application

I have been waiting 3 weeks to get an anwser if i can rent from them .. They are rude and can't tell me anything about my application ... Its always the same anwser if i call everyday "They are still busy with your application , they will call you" ... How hard is it to give somebody a real anwser... It feels like i'm just wasting my time and money*!!!
