COVID drunken parties

Saturday night/morning we had yet another Incident at the complex.

Tennant at no 34 started partying early in the evening. At around 22:00 arguments started, their drunken arguments were audible throughout the complex. Numerous occasions the fights and arguments were happening in the parking areas.

This continued until 00:00 when women were heard screaming and bottles/glasses were heard breaking.

I tried to get a hold of the care taker, who was not answering his phone. I called the security at the boom gate, who advised that they would send someone. This after 2 hours of fighting and raucous.

We then contacted SAPS and reported the incident.

I went downstairs and told the genttlemen(who were now outside) that they are making a lot of noise. Whereby the one became very aggressive and proceeded to attack me. His friend grabbed and pulled him away.

At around 01:00 security managed to escort the man away from the apartment, who could be heard screaming and fighting all the way down the road.

SAPS arrived at 03:00, and the incident was explained to them. At that stage it was quiet. Therefore they could not do anything, but logged the incident.

This has been a continuous issue with these same tenants, yet no action is being taken by complex management. Complaints have been lodged before, yet still no corrective action.

Going forward we will continue logging these incidence with SAPS, as the complex does not seem to see the necessity in attending to Tenant complaints.
