An Hour Wait, No Food

<p>About a month back I finally convinced my husband to try Zebros Food at the newly established Promenade branch, as I always enjoyed the Town Centre branches food. Well it was about after 18:00 hours when we got there as we popped in after work for something convenient but also tasty to eat. We ordered and waited, and waited, and waited, checking on our order a few times being told our order is not done yet. At one point of checking and questioning how long we already waited, the one counter assistant grabs an order, which I saw laying there quite a time, to investigate the order. After a while she returns and after some discussions and accusations amongst staff the manager comes to advise me that they gave our more expensive order "mistakenly" to another customer. I queried how he would fix the situation, pointing out that my baby who became frustrated during the wait had falling asleep and my young daughter had become bored and it had become extremely late, it wad our intention to not stay out lat ss it is a winter's evening and the point of takeout was so we could get to bed early. The manager who then seemed like he was gonna move mountains to remedy the situation then with much difficulty said he would reimburse our money, as they have now run out of a certain stock item to fill our order. </p> <p>No talk of our precious time wasted, no food to feed my by then hungary family, no professional manner in which to truly address their error. We will definitely not be supporting this branch!</p>
