Faulty DUSTPROOF 2\ 18W ECG"

On the 06 September 2014, purchased three external lights from Zebbies. Light bulbs exc. (R1287) Upon installation of the three fittings by my electrcican, two did not work the next day. After a few months passed by, I managed to get another electrician (previous electrician did not want to come through) to come in (electrician now costing me R1000) and he said the installation was done incorrect and water had gone in the units hence the two did not work. (Even if water had gone into these fittings, these are extrnal lights. They should be condusive to these weather conditions. Thats why they are external lights.)The units also corroded slightly. Took the fittings back to Zebbies and they said incorrect cable was used. Its not their fault, its my electrcians fault. Cant even understand how they can make that conclusion without seeing the installation. Also this is the same cable that was used for the past fifteen years for my previous light fittings. Suddenly now this cable is incorrect. When purchasing these fittings no mention of a special cable was brought up by the salesman. End of the day I was told it will cost me R440 to fix by Zebbies and no replacement. AfterR2500nolightS.
