Zarth Designs pathetic business Ethic

I'm am disappointed and disgusted with ZARTH DESIGNS in Durban, Musgrave - most especially with their head designer and owner of the Company ZAMA. I paid 60 percent of costs for my designer garment for my sons wedding 2 weeks before lockdown only to go on hard lockdown and all events were canceled. In the first week of lockdown I sent emails & voice notes to Zama canceling my order. I understood that it was possible because I had not seen any bought sample materials as promised on my first consult. All my subsequent communications were ignored for months when eventually I received a response from the HEAD Designer ZAMA that my material was already bought. I explained that my Son was married already, and that I was not informed or shown samples of materials. I couldn't understand how as she would have had 2 days before the impeding level 5 lockdown to purchase the materials which i had not seen as per agreement. Several conversations, emails, and attorneys letters later - 6 months later i have still not received any response from this TOP DESIGNER who designs for several high profile people. I still await my 60 percent deposit refund or the refund and materials bought with proof of purchase in March 2020. Stop using your designer business to ***** from hard working South Africans and work for your monies. My next stop is the small claims court with costs - the most important reason would be to teach you not to be dishonest and ***** from others. My honest opinion DONT SUPPORT DISRESPECTFUL AND DISHONEST BUSINESSES. Like ZARTH DESIGNS!! Jenny Chetty
