Zara's return policy
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the shoes I purchased from your store in 2019, as well as the appalling customer service I received from your Store Manager.
The shoes in question were bought for my mother's funeral and held sentimental value. I had kept them unworn until 2024, when I finally decided to wear them. To my dismay, after only three weeks of wear, the soles started cracking. I was shocked and disheartened by this development, given the minimal usage and the expected quality of Zara products.
What's even more distressing is the treatment I received from your Store Manager when I brought the issue to their attention. Instead of empathy and assistance, I was met with rudeness and a clear lack of concern for my situation. As a customer, I expect a certain level of respect and support, especially when dealing with a product that has failed to meet expectations. but instead i was told to go read the Customer Protection Act which i have done and the Standards Act, mind you i have or 10 years Retail Experience in Management of luxury Brands.
I request that you take immediate action to address this issue. I would like a replacement item, considering the sentimental value and the fact that the shoes were barely worn. Furthermore, I suggest that your Store Manager undergo additional training on customer service and conflict resolution.
If I do not receive a satisfactory response within the next two weeks, I will be forced to share my disappointing experience with friends, family, and online platforms, which could potentially harm your brand's reputation.
Sincerely,
Sandile Dlomo *** ***
