ZARA *****s from their customers!!!

<p>My sister has received a gift card to the value of R500 from me for Zara clothing store in the Waterfront. It expired on 26 May and she wanted to purchase something this weekend but was declined.</p> <p> </p> <p>I do not understand how money expires???? How could you ***** from your customers like this?! she has been pregnant twice out of the 3 year "grace period" and could not use the voucher as the store does not have maternity wear.</p> <p> </p> <p>"For ZARA, a gift card is viewed as good as cash, so once it has been damaged, lost or misplaced it cannot therefore be reissued and it must be used within a 3 year period, from the date of issue." We have not "lost, damaged or misplaced" the gift card. </p> <p> </p> <p>This is ridiculous and i will NOT accept that the R500 is no longer available!!!!</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
