Zara Return Policy Is ****

I bought shoes for my daughter yesterday during my lunch hour, and she was in school at that time. She stays in aftercare until 5:30pm and i work until 5pm. She was only able to try on the shoes when she got home. When she tried them on she said they were uncomfortable. Immediately she took them off because i wasn't going to let my daughter walk around in uncomfortable shoes, so we put them back in the bag to return them today. I went to Zara sandton (where i bought them) to exhange them for a bigger size. A girl name Gugulethu Zwane said they can't take them back because they've been worn. She asked what happened and i told her exactly the same thing i just mentioned here. My question to her was if it's not possible that i took shoes that were brought back by another customer and she said there's no prrof of that. My understanding is that Zara's return policy clearly states any item can be returned within 30 days of purchase, so if this is the case why were those shoes not taken back? Why should i suffer for Zara's neglegence and Isn't my receipt proof enough that the shoes were bought yesterday? What parent would let her child walk around in uncomfortable shoes mara? I'm dissappointed and livid.
