ZARA Menlyn Staff

On wednesday 03.05.2017 i came i to do a refund, the teller asked for a R1 inorder for her to give me R270.00 i gave it to her but she refunded me R70 instead of R270. I only realised on my way back home, gave Zara a call and requested to speak to the Manager, a lady called Thembi said that she was the manager and said i must come back to the store to colect my R200 but i couldnt since i was already halfway to Mpumalanga. I assured her that i will come in the store as soon as i come back to Pretoria and she said its fine.

I get to Zara on Sunday 07 May and ask to speak to Thembi, firstly Jessica says she ther is no Manager by the name of Thembi and suggest that it mustve been Thabisa and points at Thabisa. I try and speak to Thabisa and she says its not her and immediately keeps on telling her colleague that she is on lunch. I stand there like a complete fool as no one is paying attention to what im saying. After a while the cashier that helped me eventually says that she remembers that Thembi told her something about a refund. Once again i was made a fool coz there was indeed a staff member called Thembi but they pretended as if they dont know her, Thabisathen says to me that Thembi is not a manager so Thembi **** to me over the phone.

She was not working on Sunday so i ask if i could speak to her because i wastede a trip form Mpumalanga to Pretoria and she better have a clear explanation as to why she said i must come to the store if im not going to get my R200 i was conned. I ask the Thabisa lady when this girl will she be on duty she says she doesnt know, im like please check for me and she says that Thembi's Manager is not available so she doent know.

I request for a footage of the time the refund took place from Thabisa firstly she says that it will not show anything then she says that i need an affidavit, and they will send it to customer service then i will have to come in with the police as they will hand the footage to the police. That is not possible without me opening a case against the store or the cashier, i cannot just go and ask the police to accompany me without a valid case number. She still insists i do that.

The level of unproffesionalism in the staff from ZARA Menlyn is disgusting, you'd swear they in Grade 7 or thats the highest level of education they have. Getting to think that i spent more than R11 000.00 a week before, i feel like getting a refund for everything. Not that i need that R200 but for the mere fact that the staff are ***** and never took my complaint serious it makes me think that they are ******* as well.
