Zara Clothing retail store

Do NOT buy from Zara. There return policies are shocking to say the least. My daughter received a t shirt as a Christmas gift but it’s too small for her. I went to the eastgate branch where it was purchased with the item to exchange for a different size. The item still has the tags attached to it but because I don’t have a receipt for the item they won’t charge the size at all. They say they don’t keep records of in store purchases on their system at all and without the receipt I might as well throw the item in the bin. There is no way to call and speak to a customer service representative. You can chat to them via their website but they keep cutting me off the chat. They just don’t want to help. I think it’s absolutely shocking and I will never again spend money or step foot back into a Zara store again.
