Worst customer service

Baught a pair of chunky studded boots in April,started wearing them in June since it was cold in SA,on the 4th September discovered they peeling and broken into two,it's not even up to a year. Went to Zara Sandton City,was assisted by HOD Okuhle,that's how he introduced himself,told him my concern n showed him my boots,he said it's over 6 months there's nothing he can do,asked how because you can see it's a supplier's or factory fault, even my colleague had da same problem with the boots. He wasn't willing to help or listen to me,he said they don't even have them in stock anymore unfortunately I have to see what I can do. We shop at Zara because we believe they sell good quality products that last you longer,only were them not even more than 5 times but are torned already,what do I do?Does it mean I threw my money down the drain n to be told there's nothing that can be done.
