Unfairly treated
My Sister purchase a birthday gift for me .She had spent at Zara on a number of other items. My gift was just over R1000.00.She sent me the receipt. We do not have a Zara close to where we live and I just couldn't get to the store to exchange as the items were big.I then had a viral infection and had to be indoors.I was unaware that the policy of return was 30 days eventually I managed to go which was a day over the 30 days .The items were still in the gift bag hadn't been tried on on as I could see they were too big.I went to Zara at Eastgate the store manager standing in refused to change the items with the receipt because it was a day over.I explained my situation to him and apologized. He was rude and told me to send an email to the Zara website as he is not prepared to assist me.I sat in the store trying to send this email .He just ignored me and showed no interest in my concern.I kept on calling him saying I am battling to logg a complaint and can he assist. He showed not interest and brushed me off putting on a show of authority in front of his staff.I then left as I was disappointed and frustrated.I then logged a call and after 2 weeks got a reply to say they declined my return.Over the years my sister and I have spent lots of money in the store and it's a shame to a world wide Brand that you are treated that way .I am now left with a gift in a bag that I would never get to wear. Its a shame Zara .
