Running in circles with Zara Sandton City JHB

<p>I was given a winter wrap as a birthday gift from a friend.</p> <p>I find it too bulky and wish to exchange it for something else. a seemingly simple idea.</p> <p>I went to the Sandton store and was told I cannot exchange it without a gift receipt. It still has it's tag attached. My friend didn't give me a gift receipt, merely the gift!!</p> <p>I expressed my irritation and left deciding to contact Zara customer services to try and resolve the problem.</p> <p>Well, I ended up on the international Zara home site. They said they couldn't help me and I was re -directed to the clothing site. South africa is not listed , so I started a chat with someone in the USA who said they couldn't help (of course) and said I should contact the store directly.</p> <p>I phoned many times abd the phone is NEVER answered.</p> <p>All I want to do is change my gift for something else!!!!</p> <p>I really think this is very poor service. Any store will exchange items or give a gift card if there is no receipt and the item is in perfect condition with the tag attached.</p> <p>Help Please!!!!</p>
