I tried returning an item to Zara Eastgate where the purchase was made.
I bought a pair of trousers on the 30th of October 2018. These pants do not fit which is why I was returning them.
Today, I tried returning the trousers and the Eastgate store manager refused to give me my refund.
I am extremely upset for the following reasons: 1. The trousers were not checked if they had an inner label at the time of purchase and you can check your CCTV. (and I can identify the two ladies that sold me the trousers) 2. I have the slip and the tag of the trousers and this is disregarded. 3. The item is not damaged 4. The store manager refuses to abide by ZARA’s return policy that stipulates that the item should not be damaged, requires to be returned within 30days and the original slip is provided. 5. The store manager has absolutely no proof that the item when purchased had an inner label. 6. My legal rights as a customer are being flouted.
I am really disappointed with the incompetence of your store manager and her attitude towards me and resolving the matter. She openly disregards the stores return policy that is clearly displayed at the tills. This policy stipulates nothing about an inner tag on the item being found. What puzzles me the most is that the slip provided and the tag, corresponds to the item number on ZARA’s system. This is intentional ignorance and I will not stand for it. I spend a lot of money at ZARA and this is not the type of customer service I deserve for my loyalty. Unacceptable!!
