Poor Customer Service and Not Customer Centric
On the 6th May my wife and I went to Zara Mall of Africa to buy a gift and mind you I have alway preferred Zara. After last week experience I refuse to shop at any of you stores.
The customer service and treatment we received was appalling and I was treated like we came to ***** there. The store supervisor and guard made sure we feel like we were not wanted there. We were told to leave the store because we came in the shop with the trolley, becuase we have been shopping before we decided to go to Zara and this is common if you go to a mall.
Since the store doesnt have designated secure package counters or where can put our trolley I decided to sit on the side of the store with the trolley where I wont disturb other shoppers while my wife did the shopping. Store manager/ supervisor still felt that I should the leave the store or put the trolley in an unsecured corner which Zara refuse liability if my things get ******. I refused to leave the trolley unattended becuase of the valuable items in it. I arrived just in time at counter before my wife paid and told her to stop with the purchase becuase our money and presence was not want at Zara Mall of Africa. I recommend for people to stay away from Zara.
I fail to understand Zara no trolley policy if is located in mall. People do not come to mall for Zara only. Other stores with a smaller floor size and very fragile items allow they're customers to come in with trolleys becuase they understand their customers and their needs. Which clearly Zara doesn't understand and it will be its downfall here in SA. If more your stores start closing down in the next year I would not be surprised becuase Zara is not customer centric but care only about our money without providing the right customer experience.
