Pathetic service ever

I purchased some few items and I wanted them to be delivered by Friday 20th as they had said on the estimated delivery date. Now they sent an email saying the items will not be delivered on that date because of some delays. The order status is still being processed as of 19 October and that is 10 days after placing the order. I contacted the customer service so that they can cancel the order as it will be taking longer but said we can’t cancel your order you can only return at an cost of R79. Why would I pay a return shipping cost when it is not my fault that it was delayed. Shipping takes 3 days to where I stay and I will definitely not receive the items by the 20th and yet the items are needed for the weekend. Pathetic service ever.
