No exchange taking place without purchaser's card
Bought a pair of pumps for my niece last week at Zara Tygervalley.
Paid with my card. Gave it as a gift, along with the slip (which is very impersonal already).
The shoe was a bit too tight so my sister took the slip (which was said to be the only requirement for an exchange by the assistant at Tygervally) along with the shoes to V&A who have kept a pair aside for her.
Upon the exchange, they've refused to exchange without having my bank card with.

Not sure what the point of that is if it's an exchange only.
Literally taking the exact same product, in a bigger size, along with the original slip, & no crediting required, but unfortunately they still won't help. So basically my sister had to purchase the new pair. Such a schlep for something so simple.

Basically this just puts people off purchasing gifts at Zara, because A) if it's not the correct size the person who was gifted would know the amount you've spent, & B) you would need the purchaser's card if it was purchased with a debit/cheque card.
