Most unpleasant shopping experience Zara Cresta - Verbally abused due to no shopping trolley policy

<p> My brother in-law who lives in Bloemfontein asked me to purchase perfume for him at Zara Cresta. On Saturday 20 August , my daugter of 14 months went to Cresta to buy the perfume for him as requested. At my arrival of the Zara shoop the security advised that no shopping trolleys are allowed in the store, I said that I do not want to browse through their clothes I just want to by the perfume and be on my way. He called a male manager and I explained the situation to him and he let me go in to purchase the perfume. I showed the picture of the perfume to the sales lady who also advised me that shopping trolleys are not allowed and I advised that I just want to by a bottle of perfume and be on my way.</p> <p>Only to find that the perfume my brother-in law wanted was out of stock I contacted him to find out if there is anything else that I can get him instead. He said any other two bottles would be great, I even considered buying for my husband as well.</p> <p>From a corner a female manager approaced me and advised me to leave the store. I said to her that I only want to buy the perfume and I will then go. She became extremely verbally agressige towards me and said that I must leave my child and the trolley outside the shop and she will get the security guard to look after her. What mother will let a complete stranger stand outside a shop because of store policy that shopping trolleys are not allowed in their store???? </p> <p>She became extremely verbally agressive and continued to say that she asked me to leave the store. She also promted the male manager to make me leave!</p> <p>I feel viloated as a customer and verbally abused! </p> <p>The question that I have is why would there be a store in a mall that does not allow shopping trolleys?. </p> <p>Should ZARA be in a mall at all?</p> <p>I have also read a couple of other reviews and it seems that I was not the only person that got verbally abused by the Cresta personnell.</p> <p>I truly hope that the personnell will get some training on customer relations and how to treat customers fairly so that it does not happen to someone else that is willing to spend money at their store.</p> <p> </p>
