Misinformed on item price by staff

I was very disappointed by lack of information given to me as customer at Zara Gateway Mall. I wanted to buy a top at the Zara umhlanga store today. They had a same top with different prices.. Medium had sale price and Small had a different price. I asked one of the assistance staff if the top l wanted to purchase is on sale as well and he said it was on sale. I showed him the top and did explain that size small had a different price to medium but however it's a same top and confirmed to me that size small in in sale/reduce price. After standing in a long queue and finally got to a till point, l am now being told that the top item is sold at full price. This was very upseting because l specifically asked the assistant and l told him l do not want to stand in a long queue only to find out the price is different. The manager was called and she told they cannot give to me at reduce price. I asked them to call the shop assistant to explain to me why he told me the top was a reduce price and l was told he went on lunch they are sorry. Why would l waste my time, more than 20 minutes queying on misleading information by Zara staff only to be told sorry we can't help you in any other way. I ended up not purchasing the top and transaction was canceled.
