Horrible Customer Service

<p>I am sadly writing this complaints email as I am very disappointed in the customer service I received today.</p> <p>Last week Thursday 30th March , I shopped at the Zara in Tygervalley, Durbanville. I bought a couple of items so that I could try them at home and decide if I want to keep or return, keeping in mind, I can not keep all of the items. The lady who rung it up was very friendly. She stated that if I would like to return these items, I have 30 days to do so. That is all she said to me.</p> <p>Today (A week later), I decided to return some of these items. These items were tried on once and then put back into the bag, ready to be returned. With these items included, a pair of boots, a bodysuit, shorts and a plain t-shirt.</p> <p>I got to the cashier and gave the lady the slip and items. She told me very rudely, that I am not allowed to return body suits. I was very shocked as I was unaware of this. I then told her nicely, that the lady who cashed these items up for me, did not say anything about, not being able to return body suits. I know this for a fact as I would not have bought the item then.</p> <p>The staff were extremely rude and spoke down to me.</p> <p>I was so shocked as I have never encountered this type of situation before with Zara staff.<br />The staff are normally very friendly with the customers and very helpful.<br />The lady who served me and cashed my items up last week stood there and **** to the other staff, saying that she did tell me. When in fact, she did not. <br />The other lady, who I am assuming was the manager ( she did not even introduce herself) butted in and said that I was wrong and that why would her "Trained Senior Staff" lie.</p> <p>I am so upset as Zara is my utmost favourite brand and I shop there almost twice a week. (Hence, I bought a huge amount of clothing, knowing that I could easily return items as I have done from my previous experiences.)</p> <p> </p> <p>No where in the policy does it state that bodysuits can not be returned nor does it state that bodysuits are an item of underwear.<br />It states that; underwear nor swimwear cannot be returned. </p> <p>I am not happy with the service I received today and quite frankly upset.</p>
