Disgusting service from Zara Sandton
Good day
I’m not impressed with the service I received from the Zara Sandton store manager.
I bought a blazer for R1399 on Saturday the 18th of September 2021, the plan was to wear it on Sunday the 19 of September for my brothers wedding. I red long blazer. Sunday morning when I was about to wear it I realised that the inner lining stitches are actually coming out which is resulting to the garment being torn on the stitches not on any random place but on the stitches on the armpit area. I never wore the blazer as I wouldn’t wear it in that condition. Yes, I did try it in only at home. It’s my size it’s an extra small.
Today I went to Zara Sandton requesting an exchange. Bare in mind the price tag is still in tact, the price tag it’s in a very visible area which is in the sleeve outside the garment. When I bought the item in Mall of Africa I was at last minute shopping, I was in a hurry so I didn’t check the inside of it.
So today the till supervisor looked at it and told me it has crease like I wore it, wore it with a visible price tag that’s on the outside area of the sleeve? I was so upset and I requested to speak to the manager. He then addressed me in a very disrespectful manner that there’s no ways I bought it like that, is the blazer even my size? Why am I exchanging in Sandton? My goodness I work on waterfall (near mall of Africa) but I love in Hyde park hence I came to Sandton. All I wanted was an exchange but he told that “I can simply send you back to go exchange in Mall of Africa because it’s not my branches fault that you were sold a damaged item”. I told him I’m not gonna take it with me and with all the disrespect I actually want my refund. I left the blazer and the receipt there as I couldn’t take the disrespect anymore.
My name is Neo, contact details are ***. I want a refund!
I can’t spend R1399 on a damaged item. I’m very upset
