Disgusting exchange policy

My daughter received a dress from Zara for her birthday but didn't like it. We went overseas immediately after her birthday so I didn't get a chance to exchange it. As soon as I returned I went to the store with the gift certificate that I received with the dress but they refused to change it as I had gone over the 30 days by 7 days. This 30 day warning was printed on the back of the slip which I never noticed at all.<br> <br> All I wanted to do was exchange it for something else, not get my money back but they wouldn't budge! Now I am stuck with an expensive dress that my daughter refuses to wear. The manageres was extremely unhelfpul and unapologetic. Although I have always been a frequent shopper at Zara this experience has left a very bitter taste in my mouth - I will certainly never buy anything there again for gift purposes as they make exchanging really difficult.
